Terms And Conditions

Lhonak Travels hereby provides notice that it acts solely as an intermediary for hotels, transport providers, local operators, and other travel service suppliers. We assume no responsibility or liability for the operation or services of any airline, motor vehicle, or other forms of transportation, accommodations, or lodgings. Lhonak Travels, its partners, airlines, and agents shall not be held responsible for any act, error, omission, injury, loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, irregularity, or damage that may arise from any cause whatsoever, including natural events, civil disturbances, government actions, or any failure of transport services to operate on schedule. Lhonak Travels reserves the right to decline service to any individual at any point during a tour. In such cases, any refund will be calculated based on the actual cost of the unused portion of the trip.

Cancellation Policy for Tourists

If a tourist wishes to cancel their tour, the following terms and conditions will apply:

  1. Cancellation Requests
    All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email or through an official cancellation form provided by Lhonak Travels. The cancellation will take effect only once we confirm receipt of the request.

  2. Cancellation Charges
    The following charges will apply based on the time of cancellation prior to the start of the tour:

    • More than 30 days before the tour start date: 20% of the total tour cost.

    • Between 15-30 days before the tour start date: 30% of the total tour cost.

    • Between 7-14 days before the tour start date: 40% of the total tour cost.

    • Less than 7 days before the tour start date: 50% of the total tour cost.

    • On or after the tour start date (including no-shows): 100% of the total tour cost (no refund).

  3. Refund Process

    • Refunds will be processed within 14 working days of receiving the cancellation request.

    • Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment, unless otherwise agreed.

    • Any transaction fees incurred during the payment process will be deducted from the refund.

  4. Unutilized Services
    No refunds will be provided for any unused portion of the tour, including hotel accommodations, meals, transport, or any other services, if voluntarily not taken by the tourist during the trip.

  5. Modification or Postponement

    • If the tourist wishes to modify or postpone the tour, such requests must be made in writing. Modifications may incur additional charges based on availability and the proximity to the original tour start date.

    • If the modified date falls within a cancellation period, the corresponding cancellation charges will apply.

  6. Cancellation Due to Force Majeure
    In the event of cancellations due to circumstances beyond the tourist’s control (such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions), Lhonak Travels will assess the situation and may offer partial refunds, future travel credits, or rebookings at our discretion. Standard cancellation fees may be waived or reduced in such cases.

  7. Travel Insurance
    We strongly recommend that all tourists obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, interruptions, delays, and unforeseen circumstances. Lhonak Travels will not be liable for any costs associated with the tourist’s failure to secure adequate travel insurance.
